The Women in Fencing committee hosted three successful women only training camps in summer 2023.  These camps were weapon specific and coached by Olympian Aleksandra Shelton, Olympic FIE referee Amber Civeiro-Aivano and Serena Pivotti in sabre, épée and foil respectively.  We hosted over 30 fencers from Ireland and abroad.  These camps were the first in a series of events organised by our Women in Fencing committee to promote and encourage the participation of girls and women in our sport.  We would like to thank Sport Ireland for their continued support in our initiative.  Keep an eye on this webpage and our social media for upcoming Women in Fencing events.
